Refunds & Cancellations

Our Commitment

OpenSky does not sell products. Donations are entirely voluntary. If you made a donation in error or have a genuine concern, we will do our best to make it right.

Donations — Refund Policy

All payments made on openskylyf.com are voluntary donations to support the OpenSky community movement. Since OpenSky does not sell goods or subscription services, refunds are handled on the following basis:

  • Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same intended donation, we will refund the duplicate amount in full within 5–7 working days.
  • Error or accidental payment: If you made a donation accidentally or entered the wrong amount, you may request a refund within 7 days of the transaction. We will review and process eligible refunds within 5–7 working days.
  • Technical failure: If your payment was deducted but you did not receive a receipt or confirmation, please contact us. We will investigate immediately and resolve within 5 working days.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used (UPI, card, net banking, or wallet).

Membership — Cancellation Policy

OpenSky membership is always free. There is nothing to cancel or refund for membership.

If you wish to remove your membership and have your personal data deleted from our records, simply use our Contact form and select "Membership / Circles / Events" as the topic. We will process this within 7 working days.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, use our Contact form and select "Refund Request" as the topic. Include the following details in your message:

  • Your full name
  • Email address used at the time of donation
  • Date of the transaction
  • Amount donated
  • Payment method used (UPI, card, etc.)
  • Order ID or transaction reference number (from your receipt email)
  • Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 working days and to complete eligible refunds within 5–7 working days of approval.

Non-Refundable Situations

We regret that refunds cannot be processed in the following circumstances:

  • Refund requests made more than 7 days after the transaction date
  • Donations made with the clear intent to support OpenSky and not reversed within 7 days
  • Disputes or chargebacks initiated without first contacting OpenSky directly

If you have a concern that does not fit neatly into these categories, please write to us. We will always try to find a fair resolution.

Payment Gateway

All payments on openskylyf.com are processed by Cashfree Payments, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. OpenSky does not store your card, UPI, or banking details at any point.
