Annual Convergence
Members gather from across the world for a single day of shared practice, open reflection, and common humanity.
The Annual Convergence is OpenSky's one gathering of the year. Members travel from across the country — and the world — to spend a day together outdoors: breathing, reflecting, listening, and simply being human in each other's company.
The day begins before sunrise with collective open-eyed breathing — the entire gathering, together, watching the sky shift from darkness into light. No words. Just presence.
Members share what the year has brought — challenges, insights, changes. No rank, no agenda, no performance. The most senior and the newest member speak in the same voice.
A ritual walk in which every participant crosses a symbolic boundary — approaching and speaking genuinely with someone from a different background, faith, or perspective.
The gathering closes as a single Circle — the full community in one ring, equal in standing, sharing a final collective breath under whatever sky greets us that evening.
There is no podium, no keynote, no featured speaker. The Convergence has no leaders and no audience — only participants, all of them equally the point.
The Convergence charges no registration fee. Members cover their own travel and food. The event is kept deliberately simple — the sky is the venue; no venue hire required.
Date and location will be announced to all registered members in mid-2026.
Sky Supporters receive priority registration.
